About me Get to know more about Chenfeng Zhu (朱辰丰)

Most recently, I worked at OCLC in Munich for over six years, developing and maintaining software solutions used by libraries worldwide. Previously, I worked with companies including IBM and Beijing Si-Tech, gaining experience in software engineering, data warehousing, and enterprise systems.

I hold a Master’s degree in Internet Technologies and Information Systems from Leibniz University Hannover in Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce from Beijing Jiaotong University in China.

My main tech stack includes Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL. I have extensive experience in full-stack development, REST APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, and modernizing existing systems. I enjoy taking end-to-end ownership of software development, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

I value clean, maintainable code, thoughtful problem-solving, and close collaboration with product owners, designers, and international development teams. I’m also interested in AI-assisted development and exploring how modern technologies can improve software engineering.

Outside of technology, I’m passionate about football, reading, movies, music, and traveling. I enjoy discovering new places, learning new things, and meeting people from different backgrounds.
